Recruitment
We recruit throughout the year and usually have a waiting list. First there is an application form you will need to complete, once processed you will be asked to attend an interview with the Clinical and Counselling Lead. Once accepted, you will be given an induction, be allocated to a supervision slot and will be allocated 3 weekly clients.
Occasionally it is not possible to find a time slot that suits a volunteer’s availability and there may be a waiting period until one becomes available.
RB Mind encourages applications from experienced counselors, as well as those still in training. We also need volunteers who have experience in working with people who have more complex mental health needs, or particular specialist skills.
RB Mind particularly welcomes applications from BME and multilingual counsellors.
