Engaging and Learning Together
Much work has been taking place around Service User Involvement within RB Mind, and our group of active users has steadily increased. As we have highlighted previously, RB Mind has formally agreed to create a more inclusive and cohesive way of how we involve service users in our work.
We now hold Service User Forum meetings every 7 weeks for service users to give input and ocmment and influence our service provision. Out of the meetings and discussions that have been taking place, users have been effectively giving feedback on a number of issues, such as communication and personalisation that has enabled RB Mind to look into proposals put forward to the local authority and how the What's On newsletter is developed.
Each RB Mind service also has a service user invovlement built into it.
The work in this area is still in its infancy, however steadily more and more of our services are slowly identifying users who will become service user representatives of that particular service. It is envisioned that all services will have a user representative identified bringing us in line with our Service User Policy.

Ways to get involved
If you are interested in getting involved or wanting to learn more about RB Mind's activities please attend our Service User Forum, where service users and their representatives come together with RB Mind Staff and Trustees to explore some of the issues the organisation is dealing with and listen to feedback from users of our services. The Service User Forum is open to any service user who uses RB Mind services and wishes to attend.
RB Mind hosts regular service user involvement trailing, call us to find out when the next training session is planned. It is imperative for those who wish to effectively be involved within the organisation to attend this session. We aim to make these sessions interesting, informative and informal and provide breaks and food to all those who attend.
For those users who wish to understand what opportunities exist within the organisation for active involvement, these are listed below.
