Richmond Borough Mind for the second year in a row was scheduled to hold an event on Friday 25th March 2011 entitled ‘My Journey’ which was due to take place at Cole Court in between 10am to 1pm.
Due to low take up, associated with the end of the financial year, RB Mind has taken the decision to post-pone the event for later on in the year. This done in order to allow adequate participation on an issue that is immensely important for BME Communities.
This event was meant as a follow up to the successful event held in March 2010 entitled I’m Here which addressed the visibility of BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Communities well being needs in Richmond.
‘My Journey’ was meant to follow on to explore the well being journeys of BME communities in accessing health and social care services in Richmond. Looking specifically into the impact of their engagement with local organisations and how collectively our journey towards full inclusion of diverse communities is an ongoing one.
Richmond Borough Mind will be announcing in the coming months when it will be seeking to re-schedule this event later on in the new financial year. The organisation apologises for any inconvenience caused.
