The Peer Group Network is holding an open day on Wednesday 6 March 2013 between 10 am and 2 pm in Clarendon Hall, York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 3AA.
The Peer Group Network aims to enable, empower and involve individuals regardless of their mental health to participate in or run peer led groups, to be active and flourish in their communities. The Peer Group Network trains people who have experienced or are experiencing mental health problems to run their own activity groups to support their own mental health and that of their peers.
Come along and sample our groups, meet our Peer Volunteers and discover first-hand how Peer Volunteering has contributed to their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their peers. We at RB Mind have trained 23 volunteers who run up to eleven groups in the community. Our next training is taking place in April 2013.
For more information, please come along to our open day or contact Claire Blackburn, Peer Volunteer Office on 07827 491 325 or email@example.com
