Access information on local services in Richmond
Our Carers in Mind team are having their annual conference, Looking for Solutions Together!, on Friday 13th June, 12-3.30pm, at The New Pavilion, Dancer Road, Richmond, TW9 4LB. During the first half of the day there will be three presentations. Firstly Ruth Allen, Director of Social Work and Carers Lead at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, will give a local update on behalf of the Trust and some information on national initiatives relevant to mental health carers.
This will be followed by a presentation on the recent development work being implemented on Lavender Ward from Collen Baffana, Ward Manager. Finally Aileen Jackson, the Commissioning Manager for Older People's Mental Health and Carers, will talk on The Care Bill and what this may mean to local mental health carers.
After lunch there will be a Question and Answer panel session in which local commissioners and service providers will respond to your questions about our carer and mental health services. Please submit any questions by 2.15pm on 13th June to firstname.lastname@example.org – local carers will select which questions are put to the panel.
