As part of Mind's new Get Set To Go campaign, our Peer Group Network is organising a WOW (Women on Wednesday) yoga event on 27 April to encourage more women with mental health problems to get active. We are very fortunate to have John Moran, a experienced yoga practitioner, to deliver the session. There is no need to book. Just come along at 11am to Oddfellows Hall, 15 Parkshot, Richmond TW9 2RG.
Find out more about the Get Set To Go campaign and how being active can change your life here.
Our Peer Group Network is made up of groups run by and for people who experience mental health issues. Some of our groups are supported by volunteers who have expertise in their field. We offer a safe and nonjudgemental space where you can make friends, have fun and learn new skills. Yoga is just one of the activities on offer. You can find a full list of activities with times and locations here.
