Richmond Borough Mind on the 21st of September is hosting an Open Day in order to celebrate and raise awareness of the People's Network, a peer led project that operates across Richmond.
The People's Network trains and supports individuals who have or are recovery from mental health distress to lead and run a number of activity groups in the borough. We run training sessions twice a year and offer ongoing support. Currently the People's network has 7 weekly groups that take place in various locations in the borough and offer varied activities. For more information on these groups and other RB Mind activities please click here.
Our Open Day is a good way to learn more about this project, and a great opportunity for individuals to meet our peer volunteers, and find out how they can attend one of our groups, or become a peer volunteer leader themselves.
The day will have a vaiety of guests including Deputy Mayor Bond, and a comedian from Cracking up doing a short sketch.
For more information on this open day please look at the leaflet below, whilst for more activities taking place across Richmond Borough Mind please consult What's On. If you would like to receive this on a bi-monthly basis please do not hesitate to contact RB Mind's Main Support Office on 020 3513 3404 or e-mail us on email@example.com
