RB Mind's wonderful fundraiser Neil Paget completed to Thames Meander Marathon on Saturday 11th March for RB Mind.
On Friday, 21 April our Carers in Mind team is holding their annual Quiz Night to raise funds for carers’ social activities. Tickets cost £15 and include a delicious fish and chip supper, the quiz and games, after dinner refreshments and live music! There will be a bar selling beer, wine and soft drinks. The event will take place 6.30-10pm at St Luke’s in The Avenue, Kew, Richmond, TW9 2AJ.
A massive well done and thank you to our amazing fundraiser Sarah Belcher who completed the Seville Marathon on Saturday 18th February in the time of 4 hours and 19 minutes.
RB Mind has launched a series of two-hour monthly volunteer training sessions covering a range of different subjects funded by the Community Learning Fund. The sessions will take place on a Wednesday or Friday from 4-6pm, and are open to all RB Mind volunteers and those who volunteer for another charity in Richmond and live in Richmond.
This month will see the start of our Open Day Project, a series of Open Days giving you a chance to learn about each of our services. First up is the Carers project, including the Acute Carers Recovery project. This will take place on 20 February, 12:30pm-2pm, at Richmond Library Annex, Quadrant Road, TW9 1QL.

The annual Time to Talk Day is taking place on Thursday, 2 February and Richmond Borough Mind is once again joining the conversation. We will be holding a Tea and Chat afternoon at our RB Mind Centre, 32 Hampton Road, Twickenham, 2.30-4.30pm.
For anyone who sees themselves as a procrastinator we will be launching a new peer group this Friday called Procrastinators Anonymous Richmond (PAR). If there is something that you have been planning to do for a while but keep putting off like filling an application form or fixing up your CV or applying for a course, this may be the group for you.
RB Mind is offering Peer Volunteer Training to enable you to become a group facilitator within our Peer Group Network, a network of activity groups run by and for people who experience mental health problems.
Over the festive season RB Mind will once again be carol singing at local train stations to raise money and awareness. On 12 December we will be at Richmond station and on 13 December we will be at Twickenham station, each day from 5-7pm.
