The June/July edition of Richmond Borough Mind's newsletter, What's On, is now available to download. This publication, which is produced bi-monthly, gives service users, family and friends and professionals an overview of current activity that is taking place across the organisation.
Richmond Borough Mind is working in partnership with Richmond Carers Centre to deliver their Carers Conference and we are delighted to invite you to attend. It will take place on Thursday, 15 June during National Carers Week and will be held at York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 3AA.
Well done to all our walkers who took part in Walking Out of Darkness, a 10 mile walk around London to raise awareness of mental health.
A massive well done and thank you to our runners that took part in the London Marathon on 23rd April. Between them Hannah and Andrew raised almost £5,700 for RB Mind.
On 12 April, there will be a special music show fundraiser for RB Mind at the Vineyard Community Centre, Richmond, TW10 6A. The event has been organised by Lewis Ajegbo. There will be two bands playing. First up will be Lewis and Sergi Cunhill on vocals and keyboard respectively. The style is alternative-pop with jazz and folk influences. During the interval there will be a talk on mental health from Richmond Borough Mind volunteer, Georgie Williams.

Our next Open Day Project event is on 20 April and this time we be featuring our youth wellbeing projects, Mindkit and Bounce. The Open Day will take place 12:30-1:30pm at Richmond Library Annex, Quadrant Road, TW9 1QL. This is an opportunity to learn more about our work in schools, colleges and youth centres, helping young people to develop mental resilience and improve their wellbeing.
Join RB Mind at Walking Out of Darkness, a 10 mile walk beginning in Battersea Park on Saturday 13th May to raise awareness of mental health and stand together with those that have been affected by mental ill-health.
