Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Qualified, Step 2)
Band 5 £26,682 – 34,049 incl OLW (depending on experience), plus 3-5% matched pension

We are an established Low Intensity IAPT service with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality patient care and rate consistently within the top 3 London IAPT services for Recovery rates. Richmond Borough Mind (RB Mind) runs the Step 2 element of the Richmond Wellbeing Service (RWS). We work closely with our Step 3 High Intensity colleagues in this co-located service.
Qualified in Low Intensity work, you will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to meet the demands of a challenging but rewarding role. You will be managing your own caseload through delivering workshops and individual guided self-help. Regular clinical supervision will be provided by the Clinical lead, in addition to regular line management and training opportunities.
Richmond Borough Mind is committed to clinical excellence and ensuring continuing professional development for our staff team by developing their skills and special interests. This year the PWPs attended the National Networking Forum for the fifth year running. Each PWP is able to champion an area of interest to them within the service, involving learning and outreach. Current PWP champions focus on drugs and alcohol, older people and staff wellbeing.
You will be working with a team of dynamic, dedicated and committed PWPs and Trainees and be part of successful teams at both RB Mind and our partners, East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). For your personal development you will have access to expertise from both the Trust and the local Mind network.
Based near central Twickenham you will be able to travel throughout the Borough of Richmond to ensure that our service is responsive to the needs of all communities in Richmond throughout weekdays and one evening per week. You have the advantage of working in London’s leafiest borough, with very quick access to central London – just 20 minutes on the train.
Following RB Mind’s recent staff happiness survey, all PWPs said they were highly motivated, found their job worthwhile, had good relationships within the team and that RB Mind are a good organisation to work for.
