Full Time
Salary: Band 6 AfC, circa £36,070 (incl Outer London Weighting)

This is a great opportunity for career progression within IAPT services. Gaining management experience to grow your leadership skills, you will be supervising a team of dynamic and committed qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) and trainees. You will be supporting a hardworking and motivated team. In a recent staff survey all PWPs said they were highly motivated, found their job worthwhile and had good team relationships.

You will be employed by Richmond Borough Mind which runs the Step 2 element of the Richmond Wellbeing Service (RWS), led by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). We are an established Low Intensity IAPT service with an excellent reputation, scoring highly in the London recovery figures. With the whole service growing, you will be joining at an exciting time,.

You will provide effective shared leadership and management to the Step 2 IAPT team with your Senior PWP colleague to ensure RB Mind meets contractual targets. You will have strong administrative skills and ensure accurate reporting, monitoring and evaluation. You will liaise with members of the RB Mind and RWS senior management teams to highlight any performance issues, risks and successes.

You will have completed PWP or equivalent training and, ideally, supervision training with an accredited organisation or be willing to undertake this. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will bring substantial post qualification PWP or mental health experience.

As part of the senior team of the whole service you will have access to expertise and support both from the ELFT and the local Mind network. You will receive regular clinical supervision from the High Intensity team.

Co-located with the High Intensity team in central Twickenham you will be initially mostly home-based but  travel throughout the Borough of Richmond can be anticipated when services open up, liaising with GPs and other clinicians and stakeholders. Bringing appropriate experience, you will be responsible for offering clinical supervision, case management supervision and overseeing the clinical work of the Step 2 Team. Your own fair but challenging caseload will include groupwork and individual guided self-help, ensuring that our service is responsive to the needs of all communities in Richmond.

Richmond Borough Mind is committed to clinical excellence and continuing professional development for our staff team through developing their skills and special interests.

RB Mind and ELFT are making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.
