Following the latest Government advice, from Wednesday 18th March we have stopped all our face to face support services (except for Journey Recovery Hub). This includes one to one counselling, group therapy and activity groups. All our service users have been contacted directly. For further information on specific services go to ‘Our Services’ tab and select a service.

Our Surbiton/Kingston Recovery Hub will be temporarily closed from today with services resuming on Wednesday 18th March. We will be running an additional service from our Twickenham location on Monday 16th March.

As part of #BeActive European Week of Sport, why not try out lawn bowls at a choice of local clubs. Bowling can provide a number of health benefits including improved fitness, improved coordination and self-esteem, and enhanced wellbeing. Sessions are available between Monday 23rd September and Thursday 26th September.
Please note, places must be booked and you will need to wear flat soled shoes (ideally plimsoles) in order to take part.

Meditating has a number of proven mental health benefits. It can help lower levels of stress and anxiety, provide better focus and concentration and also help improve self-awareness. There are physical benefits too, including helping improve sleep patterns.

We often think that by saying 'yes' to things we will gain approval and recognition, while this may be true it is also important to understand that it's ok to say 'no' or 'can I think about it?' Having boundaries in place can help our wellbeing.
As Men's Health Week comes to an end we want to highlight the importance of Men's Mental Health. Men are often told not to express their emotions and to toughen up, but this is harmful and it needs to be talked about more.
We all have mental health and our struggles are valid.
So, check in on your male friends, family members and colleagues this Men's Health Week and every other week!
