Will you help us #CarryTheBurden ?

Richmond Borough Mind are pleased to introduce our new campaign, #CarryTheBurden to raise awareness of mental health difficulties, as well as raising vital funds so that we can continue our support.

We are inviting participants to carry an item of their choosing for a full 24 hours – in recognition of the invisible burden that a mental health difficulty can represent.

Share

photos of yourself with your ‘burden’ on social media if you want to

Donate

if you are able to (check out our JustGiving page)

Nominate

three friends to keep the challenge going

Your item could be something that signifies mental health, (e.g. a paint palette to represent the benefits of art to mental wellbeing or a mask to represent putting a brave face on) or it could be fun and attention-grabbing (e.g. a giant unicorn teddy!)

#CarryTheBurden

runs throughout May 2021, coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Week, 10th – 16th May 2021. Please help us spark more conversations about mental health.

Ahead of the campaign starting on 1st May 2021, we want to get as many people as possible planning ahead and getting involved. To take on the challenge, have a think about your item and sign up below to receive your supporters pack.
