HR and Learning & Development Volunteer

This role involves providing administrative and assistant support to the HR, Recruitment and L&D areas of the Organisation.

Hours: Flexible – 7.5 to 15 hours during office hours (specific days and times tbc)

Based at: Home Based with the opportunity to be based at Richmond Borough Mind, 1st Floor, UK House, 82 Heath Road, Twickenham, TW1 4BW in the future (however can also be permanently home based).

Duties can include:

  • Recruitment process by advertising staff vacancies, liaising with candidates, arranging interviews and monitoring our recruitment inbox
  • HR Administration by ensuring staff HR records are kept up to date and inputting data (using Excel), assisting with starter paper work, DBS checks and ad-hoc HR related tasks
  • Learning and Development processes by keeping staff training records up to date, identifying training offerings and development opportunities for staff and volunteers, booking training sessions from external providers, collating certificates and promoting socials and internal wellbeing events
  • Office and Finance Administration by compiling statistical information for monitoring reports, note-taking at meetings, preparing basic copy material for newsletters, website and social media, submitting timesheets and invoices.
