Seeking help for ourselves can be daunting, particularly for our mental health. Sadly there is still much work to be done to breakdown stigma and many people find it hard to find the right support for them.
Our outreach project ensures no one misses out. It starts with wellbeing – we can regularly be found at venues around the borough were we can chat to communities who may be in need. We offer a free wellbeing assessment and the opportunity to book a confidential meeting with a member of our outreach team.
In these sessions we explore the nature of any difficulties being experienced by individuals, or their loved ones, and find the most suitable services for issues being faced. Our specialist support is suitable for common mental health issues as well as complex presentations. We particularly welcome individuals from ethnic minority groups and the LGBTQI+ community.
To find out when we are next at the Vineyard Community Centre, Whitton Community Centre or the Castlenau Centre, please get in touch.
If you are a community organisation working within the boroughs of Richmond or Kingston we can help you identify the mental health needs of your local community, visit, give a talk and even talk to members of your community face to face or online.
