Why Donate?
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in any given year. The charity sector is vitally important to the recovery of many people, who often cannot access services anywhere else.

Richmond Borough Mind is affiliated with the national Mind association, but we are an independent charity in our right – we are responsible for our own fundraising, service delivery, governance and awareness raising efforts.
Donate
We rely on our amazing community to raise vital funds to help us keep doing the work we do – in fact, we could not do it without your help! Thank you for donating whatever you can.
A key focus area for us is providing more support for children and young people. These are the local statistics that concern us, Richmond has;
- 4th worst youth wellbeing scores in London
- 3rd highest rate of hospital admissions for self-harm
- 1 in 3 of 16-19 year olds already have a mental health diagnosis
(Stats from ‘The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames Health and Care Plan 2019-2021’)
