- Mind and Body Mindfulness
Join our volunteer Karen on Mondays to start the week with a one-hour mindfulness workshop to help you relax and de-stress. This ‘somatic’ mindfulness workshop is both fun and engaging and makes a real difference to your mental wellbeing.
Somatic Mindfulness is a holistic practice that uses the body as its starting point (the word “somatic” is derived from the Greek word “soma” which means “living body”). It concentrates on the relationship between the mind and the body. This approach can help increase our capacity for regulating the nervous system, forming an excellent bridge to becoming more present and connected.
Why not give it a try? Sessions take place every Monday at 10-11am.
To join please book your (free) ticket here: Mind and Body Mindfulness Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite
